5 Things to Avoid While Removing Your Make Up

One of the best things about make up is that it boosts your confidence, it’s fun to apply and makes you pretty. But the worst thing about make up is removing it. It’s such an uncomfortable process, and sometimes your skin reacts badly to it, and you don’t even know why… Here are 5 things that you should avoid, while removing your make up:

1- Not removing your make up at all.

In this case the makeup will mix with sweat and bacteria on your face and brew blemishes. Not to mention that makeup can dry out your skin, leaving it dehydrated. To avoid unnecessary breakouts and dehydrated skin, always remove your makeup before bed.

2- Not washing your face after wiping it with make up remover.

Using a makeup wipe solo isn’t going to cut it all of the time. Instead, make sure that after you remove your makeup with a wipe (if that’s your jam), you wash your face with an actual cleanser to clear away any dirt or grime left behind.

>3- Using the same wipe to remove all your make up.

This is probably not the best idea, cause you risk transferring your eye makeup on your face or vice versa, pressing it into your pores and possibly clogging them, and there could be leftover makeup residue left behind on your face.

4- Not fully removing your eye make up.

This can lead to an eye infection, which nobody wants. So take the extra time to remove your eyeliner or mascara — even if you have to blow through six wipes to successfully do it. For a speedier removal, use eye makeup remover pads.

5- Using hot water.

Hot water strips your skin of its moisture. Instead, treat your skin with some TLC and use lukewarm water to wash and rinse your face.

Rita Ora to Host Revamped America’s Next Top Model?!

Rita Ora has reportedly signed on to be the host of the revamped America’s Next Top Model. The 25-year-old singer is no stranger to the small screen, having previously acted as a judge on U.K. talent shows The Voice and The X Factor. And now Rita is apparently going to be boosting her profile Stateside by landing the prestigious hosting role on the revamped program.

According to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Rita will be replacing supermodel Tyra Banks as the presenter of the show, which was axed from U.S. network The CW last year (15) after 12 years on air. However, it was later picked up by VH1, and the new season will air on the channel this fall (16).

“Rita is in a dream world as she’s landed the ultimate gig,” a source told the publication. “She’ll be mixing her two passions of fashion and music and taking over from a TV institution in Tyra. “Next Top Model bosses wanted to inject some freshness back into the format and they see Rita as the ideal new face. She is releasing a new single later this year to coincide with it.”

Tyra, who created America’s Next Top Model in 2003 and has enjoyed huge success as the format was picked up worldwide, previously reassured fans that she is going to be heavily involved in the revamped show. As well as being executive producer of the next season, Tyra had the job of choosing her host replacement.

“I’m pumped to identify that person and bring back the show,” Tyra said earlier this year (16). “Top Model fans, you demanded that the show come back and VH1 answered the call. Get ready for a fierce-a-fied rebirth!”

Rita’s last television role saw her judging singing hopefuls on The X Factor last year (15). But she quit the panel for the upcoming season of the ITV show, saying that she wanted to concentrate on her music career.
